The products that I have been loving this month are the Essence all about matt fixing compact powder, my eyelash curler (I can’t remember the brand), the Kiko Exotic Shine Lipstick in Nº5, the Labello SOS Lip Repair and the Je T’aime A la folie eau de toilette.

Essence all about matt fixing compact powder is a really nice setting powder. It delivers a semi matte finish. This powder adds no coverage and it doesn’t accentuate dry patches. I love how this powder controls oiliness and blurs imperfections. This compact it’s inexpensive as well.  The Essence all about matt fixing compact powder is such a joy to use.

My second love of the month is curling my eyelashes. This wasn’t something I used to do at all, I never thought it would cause such a difference, but now I do.

The Kiko Exotic Shine Lipstick in Nº5 is something I already mentioned a couple of times. I even wrote a post just for this lipstick, because it’s that’s great. If you fancy knowing more, please read the post about it.

The Labello SOS Lip Repair is a must have. This is one of those products that literally have an impact on your life, because let’s face it, who doesn’t want to have hydrated lips? It’s a wonder in a tube!

The Je T’aime A la folie eau de toilette has such a subtle scent, and that’s why I like it so much. It’s girly and dainty!

Thank you for taking the time to read this post!

Relevant Beauty Ideas 2.0

Today I decided to take some time and sit down and write about my blog, about my experience so far.

Relevant Beauty Ideas contains 24 posts, some better than other, I’m well aware of that. My most commented post is my Simple Skincare Routine.

This is going to be post number 25 actually, and so far so good.

I’m trying to improve the pictures and my writing.

I want to thank everyone for reading my blog, that’s really nice of you, so thanks.

I want to confer a very special thank you to all the people that follow my blog. There’s 119 of those people, quite frankly I never saw that one coming.

Thank you for reading!

Empties #3

So these are the products that I finished and I will give you my final thoughts on them.

IDC Institute Face Mask: It’s nice; I won’t deny that, on the other hand this face mask gave me no results. It was a nice experience because it gave me no allergic reaction or breakout. It was an inexpensive item, so the lack of improvement never bothered me. I should also mention that the sheet is quite big; I never thought I have small face before that event but I truly struggled to adjust the edges.

Diadermine Cleansing Towelettes: These things are quite handy, they’re dry squares with makeup remover in the middle. The only thing you have to do is soak them and then you remove your makeup. It’s dead simple!

Avène Gentle Purifying Scrub: It’s a paraben-free extra gentle face scrub. That’ll all that needs to be said. That’s all it does, really.

Yves Rocher Deodorant: It wasn’t horrible, but I don’t adore it either. It was nice while it lasted. This is a natural deodorant. I liked because it has no aluminum or alcohol or parabens.

Sensodyne Daily Care Toothpaste: This was lovely. If you have sensitive teeth I think you’ll love this toothpaste. It’s a wonder in a tube, seriously!

I’m quite sure this isn’t the best look for summer, but I still love it. Essence is such a great brand; never lets me down. It’s inexpensive and it does the job. The nail polishes are fabulous for many reasons. I already posted a detailed review of the right reasons, in case you’re wondering.

Going straight to the point lately I have been pairing 144 black is back and 147 miss universe and the final look is pretty sweet. I paint my nails with a coat of black nail polish and then I apply miss universe.

I love it!

Thanks for reading!

The products that I have been loving this month are the Vasenol Spray & Go Moisturizer, Athena Beauté Facial Cleansing Wipes and The Body Shop Overnight Serum-In-Oil.

The Vasenol Spray & Go Moisturizer hydrates in seconds and that way I can get dressed and move on with my life easily. The scent is really nice, plus the non-greasy formula is lovely. It never leaves my skin sticky or greasy. There’s no rich texture whatsoever. I should also mention that this product will not work if you have dry or flaky skin, so don’t expect an everyday knight in shining armor.  Like I just mentioned it’s not suitable for all skin types.

The Athena Beauté Facial Cleansing Wipes are truly gentle, but effective inexpensive wipes. These wipes remove makeup nicely and can be used to refresh the skin. This is the easiest way to remove makeup, if you ask me. This brand is against animal testing, which is another plus.

The Body Shop Overnight Serum-In-Oil is the best of both worlds. I get a serum and an oil and I love that. It saves me time while doing my skincare, and I enjoy that a lot. I love the lightweight and non greasy formula. It’s fast absorbing, which is another bonus; however this is not a facial in a bottle.

Beauty Blogger of the Month

I was nominated by iamzannnn for the Beauty Blogger of the Month. I’m quite surprised she nominated me, now I’ll answer her questions.

Here you can find her blog:

Where does your make-up inspiration come from?

I have to say anything can inspire me, but most of the time I go for the practical and simple look because my time is limited.

What are 3 of your make-up Holy Grail products you cannot live without?

I must confess I only have one makeup Holy Grail and that is by Kiko and is a powder foundation.

What is your make-up signature look which you have on most of the time?

Most of the time I just apply some powder, since I don’t have a lot of time to put on makeup.

Let us know your favorite make-up brands.

Currently my favorite brands are Essence and Kiko.

Your ultimate make-up pet peeve?

Mascara is one of the things I have a hard time dealing with.

You’ve heard about all the hype on this make-up item, bought it, tried it and don’t understand what all the fuss is about… Name that product!

The Beauty Blender is that kind of product for me. I just don’t get it, I really don’t. It’s a cute looking sponge, but it has a ridiculous price tag. It confuses me every time I think about it or every time I use it.

Concealer OR foundation only for the rest of your life. Choose one and tell us the reason!

This isn’t that simple, but for now I’ll choose foundation, mainly because I find it easier to use.
