Bumble and Bumble Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Shampoo + Conditioner

I have to say I’m not a fan, mostly because nothing special happened with these products. My hair was cleansed, but that’s everything. This did not work for me. I only tried it once, maybe that’s the issue, and anyhow I don’t see myself buying any of these items.

Essence all about matt fixing compact powder

Essence all about matt fixing compact powder is simply wonderful. There’s no coverage, but the lovely semi-matte finish from this powder is amazing, plus it doesn’t accentuate dry patches. This all about matt fixing compact controls oiliness and blurs imperfections beautifully. It’s an universal translucent finishing powder. This powder is incredibly lightweight. Wow factor: it softens the appearance of fine lines and pores. And it’s weightless! All skin tones can use it which is another bonus. My favorite part is that this powder is pretty much invisible, my skin looks like skin, no powdery finish.

Goodbye dry hair!

Currently I’m using shampoo and conditioner from the same brand (The Body Shop). I’m using the shampoo and conditioner for dry hair. I have to say I like them both. By the way they’re eco-conscious products, which is another bonus.

The Rainforest Moisture Shampoo is great and it’s not that expensive either. This formula is hydrating and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. This product has no silicones or sulphates or parabens or colorants. It contains pracaxi oil, manketti nut oil and some Community Trade honey and sugar.  By the way this shampoo doesn’t lather much because it has no sulfates. The weird part is that this shampoo makes my hair curly, I didn’t see that one coming, but I like that. I understand now why this is a best seller.

The Rainforest Moisture Conditioner is another best seller. It doesn’t weight my hair down and it’s very hydrating. The smell isn’t bad either. My issue is the bottle of the conditioner (poor packaging). It takes a workout to get the product out. By the way a little goes a long way with this conditioner. My hair has never been softer. Goodbye dry hair!

New Hair, Don’t Care

New season, new trends and new hair! This kind of change is good. I cut my hair today, I choosed a short bob and I love it. It frames my face better. Long locks no more.

So, what about you? Thinking about getting a hair cut?

I think you should, and not because you’ll save shampoo and conditioner, but because it feels good to do something a little different.

Thanks for reading!

P.S.: Let me know if you get a haircut, I’d like to know.

How to treat and prevent acne

There’s no need to mention all the reasons acne needs to be treated, I think we all know why acne is such a big issue. La Roche Posay has a line of products called Effaclar. The Effaclar range does wonders for people who have imperfection-prone skin.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Astringent Lotion Micro-Exfoliant is a product I mentioned several times. Use it once or twice weekly in the evening. Discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity becomes unpleasant or painful, keep in mind this is a drying item and redness is normal. If your skin is too sensitive this may not work. This is nothing like a peel, however it’s a good enough exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Use this product like you would use any other toner, but never get it near your eyes. You will not like the effect. You should also keep in mind to wear at least SPF15 if you use this product regularly. You can also use this product on your neck or back. And in no circumstance it should be used on blemishes that are “open”.

La Roche Posay Effaclar A.I. Targeted Breakout Corrector is simply wonderful. I have a post dedicated to this product which you will be able to read in the link below this paragraph.
